I am a NZ Born Samoan and hails from the biggest village of Samoa – Otara in South Auckland,
and have been in the AE space for the last 13 years.  6 years working firstly as a youth worker at Porirua Alternative School, under Praxis NZ, then managing it until I moved to Otautahi to manage Te Kaupapa Whakaora for the next 6 years under Te Ora Hou, Otautahi.

I am now working more at a governance level at 2 of the providers as well as providing pastoral support for AE staff and youth work support for rangatahi J

Winning the People’s Choice Award at NZ’s first ever Survivor – I have been able to use this platform (and continues doing so) to tell the story of AE and create spaces for rangatahi to have a voice of their journey in AE.

I am married to a Maori Queen and have 6 beautiful Tamariki and loves to love on people.

With his years of experience in AE he is a part of the AENB and brings the streets smarts and smarty pants element to the table and continues to show passion for this space.
