Coming from a Police background including 18 years a sole station policemen and a Youth Aid Officer, Malcolm has worked with Youth in the AE sector for 11 years.
Southern REAP (Rural Education Activity Programme) is the provider to Central Southland College in Winton and St Peters High School in Gore. Malcolm is the manager of both the Gore and Winton Alternative Education Programmes that employs registered teachers to facilitate the programmes.
Malcolm is also the Truancy Officer for the Central/Western area encompassing 20 schools in rural Southland.
